The Rhode Island State Council of Churches has selected Shepherd of the Valley as the Congregational Award recipient of their 2024 Heroes of Faith awards. We have been recognized for our work on the state-wide level with anti-racism and gun control, annual Juneteenth celebration, participation in the annual Prayer Walk at the Rhode Island State House, and collaboration with sister churches in the region. We will receive the award at the Heroes of Faith Breakfast on October 31st.
