Juneteenth Walk & Cookout - June 17, 2023

On Saturday, June 17, the Shepherd of the Valley Anti-Racism Group is sponsoring a walk and cookout for Juneteenth. Join us as we celebrate the 1865 emancipation of enslaved African Americans and recognize the work that still needs to be done.

We'll start off at 10A with a 2.5-mile walk at Hope Park (22 Clinton Ave., Hope, RI) and then head over to Shepherd of the Valley at 11:30A for an old-fashioned cookout with games and delicious food.
